Exquisite, rare, vintage amber bangle bracelet, meticulously carved, partially "japanned" (applied black stain) and adorned with gilded accents. Perfect for collectors and antiques enthusiasts.
Actual color is a warm tan with golden undertones. The1st and 4th photos are closest to actual color.

This unusual bracelet failed the Simichrome test for Bakelite. When hot water is applied, it has the odor of tree sap. It also glows yellow under UV light.
I believe that this bangle was engraved, then "japanned", then gilded.
