This item is new but open box.
I had opened it to set it up (but now it's been packed up & sealed for shipping)
I was going to hack it so it can become a functional kitchen in neutral colors, but in the process of setting it, I realized that my LO is quite tall for the kitchen. Although it is perfect for use right now, this won't be for too long as she is taller than average children of her age.
I didn’t think it would be worth the stress of turning it to a functional kitchen if my LO won't get to use it for too long based on how fast she grows in height.
But this will be perfect as a play kitchen too or a functional one as well. The backwash is red, not beige like in the picture, i didn't find an exact picture
Follow the visual instructions in the manual, and you will have a solid built.
If you would like some off-white contact paper to give it a neutral look, do let me know.
FYI- it is formaldehyde compliant based on California laws. Just to give you extra peace of mind.
