Switching relay/delay timer

This relay module replaces the previous mechanical relay and delay timer, article numbers 08410 and 08420, with a modern electronic solution. The special feature of the new solution is the fact that relay and timer functions are integrated into a single module and can be defined by the user by means of a jumper. Unlike its predecessors, the new module requires a separate power supply, which can be taken from any accessory transformer (12 ... 16 V). The module possesses two floating two-way contacts with a maximum current capacity of 1 A each. The control inputs E“ and A“ are configured to be short-circuit-proof, ensuring that almost any control signal in the range from -16 V to approx. +0.5 V results in switching. They can also be connected for interdependent switching between several relay modules. A setting potentiometer on the module is used to set the switching delay (range from approx. 2 sec. to approx. 5 min.). An LED signals the switching state Relay OFF“. When the supply voltage is applied, the module always assumes this preferred state automatically (LED on).
