Switching relais

The relay module at hand replaces the mechanical relay (Art. No. 08410) with a modern electronic solution in duplicate. The model has two potential-free adaptable changeover contacts with a maximum current carrying capacity of 1 A each. The control inputs “1” and “2” are wired to be short-circuit protected so that virtually any control signal in the range of -16 V to approx. -8 V leads to switching: among other things, key control console switched against common potential or alternating voltage, track contacts attached to the rail mass side, reed contacts, optical coupler, etc. They can also be interconnected between several relay modules. The respective last switching status is also preserved in a zero-current state. Fields of application for the module: - Automated push-pull train system, also with terminal station break, stopover - Automatic terminal loop control, automatic block control - Possibility of core (frog) polarisation (e.g. Art. No. 83230 Three-way Turnout) and turnout feedback
