This is new off my work bench
This shorebird is hand crafted from a single pice of Rosewood.
The bird measures 19 1/2" from tip to tip.
The bill is actually iron tine from an old hay fork.
The base is red cedar.
The legs are realistic size made of molded metal and lead.
The wood is in its natural state no stains , no paint, no dyes.
The bird is polished and sealed with Beeswax,Carnauba wax along with Eucalyptus, Orange and Natural Mineral oils.
This sculpture will be the cherished center piece of any fine decoy collection.
Since I carve each bird individually.. no two are exactly alike.
All are signed, dated and made in my studio in the USA.
