Brackish began with one feather bow tie designed by Ben Ross and gifted to his groomsman, Jeff Plotner. Since its inception, the brand has blossomed into a full line of men’s and women’s accessories designed and handcrafted in Charleston, South Carolina with each piece focused on honoring the beauty found in nature. The Seattle Pin is made with thorns from wild plum thickets are foraged, dried, and paired with hand selected feathers by our team of artisans to create a one of a kind statement. Each Plum Thicket Pin is designed to naturally complement the unique line of bow ties, or stand out on its own. They can be worn as a lapel pin, brooch, or hat pin. Made with guinea feathers. Pairs well with the Gatsby Bow Tie, as well as the River Wind, North Wind, St. Pierre, Durham, and Edisto.

Feathers and other materials for each pin is hand-selected giving each pair a unique coloring. All feathers used are all-natural and sustainably sourced. Every feather is hand selected by our artisans, making no two pieces exactly alike.
