Prime Osseticol is a highly digestible joint supplement with a unique blend of 80% Collagen Hydrolysate and Volcanic Minerals for nutritional support of joints and connective tissue in horses.
Prime may be useful in assisting in the repair and regeneration of cartilage, ligament and tendons in performance animals. Older animals or those suffering from joint problems may also benefit from a regular dose of Prime.
As an added benefit, each daily dose of Prime contains one standard dose of Tenderfoot, which is also a product offered by Excel Performance Plus. Using Prime on a regular basis may be beneficial for performance animals that depend on freedom of movement, suppleness, flexibility, and the absence of minor aches and pains and swelling in the joints and limbs.
Prime does not have any effect on the fluids within a joint and it may be beneficial to use this product in conjunction with Joint Lube (another product in the Excel Performance Plus range).
Prime is highly bio-available and readily absorbed into the animals system.
When using Prime for the first time it is advisable to prepare it in some form of mash or mix with water and apply over the tongue. A couple of days using this method will allow the animal to aquire the taste at which point in time it may be added to feeds in powder form.
Prime should never be applied dry over the tongue.
