This aluminum pump base not only allows a very simple and quick installation of the pump, but dampens the vibrations of the pump significantly. Vibrations with PC cases can be reduced as effectively or even prevented completely.
The pump is bolted on to the enclosed socket. The socket can then use the special Velcro mat which is covered on both sides with very strong adhesive glue, in the PC case for example be mounted on the floor.
Through this three-way technique best possible decoupling is guaranteed. The buffer reduces the vibrations and the Velcro tape prevents the transfer of any residual vibrations to the housing.
