Our CodeRed Downtime Keyboard is available in all standard KSI-1700 Series configurations. The keyboard offers a visual cue that a workstation is a designated downtime workstation, used in instances of power outage and scheduled server maintenance. Clinicians are able to easily identify which workstations IT has designated as downtime workstations. The keyboard's integrated, award-winning LinkSmart® cleaning button with optional San-a-Key® software provides a complete infection control program on an enterprise-wide basis.

The KSI-1700 SX RED keyboard features our distinctive, award-winning LinkSmart® cleaning button with optional San-a-Key®, providing a low profile, sealed key switch array that can be disinfected using EPA-approved germicidal wipes. With one push of our LinkSmart® button, keys are locked to prevent the entry of errant data, providing the opportunity for the keyboard to be thoroughly disinfected with approved germicidal wipes. Within a set user-defined "germ kill time," keys are re-engaged for resumption of normal input. San-a-Key® software offers an onscreen, animated cleaning aid and an array of analytics. Now hospital administrators know when, where and by whom a KSI keyboard is cleaned on an enterprise-wide, real-time basis.
