KER Restore

During exercise or travel, horses sweat to lose the heat generated by muscular work or stress. When they sweat, horses lose electrolytes with the principal losses being chloride, sodium, potassium and small amounts of calcium and magnesium. If these electrolytes are not replaced the consequences could be dehydration, muscular weakness, overheating, tiredness and poor performance.
The composition of RESTORE mimics that of horse sweat so it restores what has been lost from sweat. The dose rate should be adjusted according to the amount of sweat loss. RESTORE contains more electrolytes per dose than most other electrolytes, making it more effective in replacing the electrolyte losses caused by sweating.
USES:
As an oral electrolyte supplement in feed.
To replace losses in sweat.
To use in a saline drench.
To supply potassium in hard working horses.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Adjust dose according to sweat loss and work intensity.
Light = 30g (1 scoop)
Moderate = 60g (2 scoops)
Heavy = 90g (3 scoops)
Administer after competition or work for best results.
Divide daily dose amongst feeds and mix well with damp feed. Provide horses with access to salt block or additional loose salt. Use 4 Scoops (120g) in a saline drench with 15g EQUIVIT HEMABUILD
