This Beechwood plane is an all-purpose Japanese block plane made by Kaneken in Japan. Called the "Sunday Man", this plane is a good basic Japanese block plane for the DIY weekend workers. The blade is 1-3/8" wide (42 mm). The plane is available in two sizes 7-1/8" Long (180 mm) & 8-1/4" Long (210 mm).
