What do you think of when you hear the word FONDUE? This clever communal cooking idea was a housewarming gift from my mother 16 years ago. It was used once. I ended up not liking the taste of food cooked in oil; and the thought of dipping into liquid chocolate was beyond me. But maybe I had it all wrong!
Fondue originates in Switzerland of all places. Over there, it is CHEESE fondue baby!!! They even have an alcohol drinking game where you have to buy a round of drinks, sing a song, and run around in the snow naked... if your bread falls off your fork into the cheese. If we had this when I attended Penn State, I never would have graduated!
