Empathy Test - Losing Touch

The last decade has seen the independent British Synthpop duo EMPATHY TEST come out as one of the strongest secret recommendations of the Synthpop world. Their anthem "Losing Touch" has now over 6 Million streams on Spotify with many other follow-up tracks crossing the 7-digit streaming mark. The band has steadily climbed up the ranks of live shows and festivals throughout the last decade. For the first time in band history, EMPATHY TEST will now release their 4 back catalogue albums through traditional retail channels via SPKR Media. The four albums "Losing Touch" (2014), "Safe From Harm" (2017), "Monsters" (2020) and the 2022 live album "Time To Be Alive" will be re-released on CD and vinyl. Over the past nine years, Empathy Test has evolved from complete obscurity to become one of the best known and loved bands in the European and American alternative electronic music scenes, with dedicated listeners all around the world. Aside from consistently releasing high quality music, Empathy Test has toured as support for the likes of VNV Nation, Covenant, Mesh and Aesthetic Perfection, working their way up through the line-ups of German alternative music festivals like Wave Gotik Treffen, Mera Luna, Amphi, Plage Noire and NCN, before headlining their own tours of Germany, France, and the UK. The band is also planning an extensive North American Tour with 30+ dates in October 2023. The London duo consisting of childhood friends Isaac Howlett (singer, songwriter) and Adam Relf (composer, producer) has been writing music described by the press as "gorgeous" and "sumptous" (Clash Magazine) featuring "timelessly melancholy melodies" (Hymn). Entirely on their own, EMPATHY TEST have sold over 4000 vinyls and 6000 CDs through self-distribution only, reaching the maximum. They are now teaming up with professional independent distributor SPKR Media. The entire back catalogue will be available October 6th, and only a few days before EMPATHY TEST will embark on a +30 dates North American tour.
