The ColorReaderPRO from Datacolor is a sophisticated colour matching tool, offering a combination of high accuracy and flexibility with standalone use capabilities. This device is designed to match colours to popular fan decks from a wide range of paint manufacturers, with over 94% accuracy and the ability to store 10,000 different colours on-board. For standalone use, the device features a built-in OLED display for portability, and it can also be connected to mobile devices via Bluetooth and the ColorReader app.

The app can be customised for professional use through an SDK, allowing you to add personalised branding, authorise specific fan decks, and register users with the cloud-based ColorReader Fleet Management software. The app also helps to promote paint sales, with the ability to complete orders through the app, and for creative use, colour information can be output in CIELAB, RGB, CMYK, HEX, or Delta E values. Plus, the device has a built-in LiPo battery, providing more than 500 measurements per charge, and it can be recharged using the micro-USB port.
