This is the Bocking 14 variety of Comfrey. That means unlike other comfrey varieties that readily self sow from seed, this is a sterile variety, and it can only spread through the roots. This variety is also the most nutrient dense of any sterile variety. As a hardy perennial, you’ll never have to buy it again!
