Ceramide Solution

Ceramide Solution offers the ability to control Ceramide concentrations when working with all skin types. This is a concentrated pure solution that offers pure Ceramides without the occlusives they’re usually paired with. Pure Ceramide hydration works to restore the moisture barrier and is highly useful and effective for skin that doesn’t thrive with occlusives. Ceramide Solution is available in different concentrations as every skin is different and may require several different concentrations, one for day and one for night. For moisture barrier repair, dryness/dry patches and redness allow 14 - 45 days to see results. Unlike an oil, this lipid is a skin identical and works with the skin to produce results.

In a procedural setting Ceramides can be used post treatments to strengthen and reinforce the moisture barrier, provide skin comfort and be applied when a skin identical is preferred to an occlusive. Pre procedure, Ceramides can be used as a natural sebum like buffer that will hydrate and provide comfort but doesn’t create a penetrative barrier.

This formula is not beauty focused, rather, we focus on delivering high efficacy actives in the most pure solutions to address skin health and healing.

Ceramides as an active and in high concentrations are expensive and hence are usually a part of an occlusive formula to offset the low concentration of the active. In this solution we have chosen to use Ceramides as the only active and offer various concentrations to assist with cost while keeping integrity of the formula.

PROTOCOLS
Ceramide Solution can be used at home and with any procedure. They can be applied pre, during and post treatment to offer skin comfort and to strengthen the moisture barrier. Ceramide Solution will not produce an instant silky finish or glow like Oilless, Lipix, Pure, Lux or Illume. This is because Ceramides are completely absorbed by the skin, rather, after several days of use skin on its own will have a suppleness and a healthy glow. Hydration will increase over time and skin will feel overall softer. If dryness needs to be improved immediately, use Ceramides with any of our Moisturizers, Oilless or Lipix.
