Baroque Knot Set

Milanese designer Alice Pons looks to traditional corsets, based on original historical designs, and transforms them into thoroughly contemporary pieces through bold and innovative design. The Baroque Corset is an 18th-century strapless stay featuring the iconic inverted cone shape, with straight sides that cover the torso up to the waistline. The adjustable back lacing allows the corset to be gradually tightened, ensuring a flattering fit. The Knot Skirt covers the body from the waist down to the toes and features a central knot with a front slit and back pleats, creating soft drapes over the hips. A flowy triangular train adds volume and movement to the back. The skirt has an invisible back zip closure for easy fastening. The puffy sleeves in sheer ivory mesh are detachable, making them the ideal addition to complete the look. They elegantly cover the shoulders for the ceremony and add a touch of delicate volume.
