She is in the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame...AAGPBL (All-American Girls Professional Baseball League). She played from 1951-54. She was an outfielder in 1951. In 1952 she played 2nd base maintaining rookie status becoming rookie of the year. She was the only rookie to make the All-Star team. She played short stop and 2nd in 1953. In 1954 she played 3rd and 2nd. She joined the Allington All-Stars from 1954-1958.
