Combining Polyurethane encapsulation and A/C Isolation along with multiple box depth options, these ACE Back Boxes can solve many installation challenges in one swoop.

Polyurethane encapsulated back boxes are available to provide extra protection from incursion of moisture and water by sealing seams, knock-outs, and holes. Using our standard double zinc plated back boxes (BBX), a 1/16" thick jacket of polyurethane is applied to the exterior sides and bottom of the back boxes, permanently bonding with surfaces to form a moisture resistant seal. The polyurethane back box provides protection against harsh climate, chemicals, impact and abrasion. All polyurethane back boxes will have a model number suffix of "W".

The Isolation Bracket sits tightly beneath the pocket, inside the back box, to maintain secure separation of high and low voltage, ensuring manual isolation. Insolated back boxes save the installer time and hassle in the finish-stage. High voltage conduit can enter the back box through combination knockouts on one side of the back box and low voltage through the opposite side.

Standard Stage Pocket body assemblies are 4.5" deep while the Standard Back Box is 6" deep, providing 1.5" work clearance in the bottom of the Back Boxes, making them ideal for feed thru or distribution junctions. Applications requiring more depth under the pocket body can be accommodated with extended depth back boxes, offering up to 7.5" work clearance.
